Dan Allen, CFP, EPC Certified Financial Planner
Along with his wife, Marjorie, Dan has been a resident of Fergus since 1991. His involvement in the community has included volunteering through service clubs, the Chamber of Commerce, as a fundraiser for the new Rec Centre and helping coach his children (Steve, Laura and Jackie) in hockey, soccer, and ball. Dan is currently on the board of directors for the new Centre Wellington Community Foundation and is the chairperson for the CW Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament.
Dan has been in the financial services industry for over 25 years in both account management and senior leadership roles. He was first licensed to sell mutual funds in 1989. He passed the Canadian Securities Course in 1996 and the Professional Financial Planning Course in 2001. Dan was licensed to sell insurance products in 2004 and became a Certified Financial Planner in 2005 and an accredited Elder Planning Counselor in 2006. He is continuing his education pursuing his Master Financial Advisor designation specializing in retirement income planning.
Dan's speciality is helping families create wealth, sustainable retirement income, and an estate for the causes and people closest to them.
